| Mt Field - Tyenna Valley |
The Tyenna River is abundant in feisty stream trout and it's an ideal place to spot a platypus before travelling on to the renowned Russell Falls at Mt Field National Park, where Tasmania's eco-systems are easily accessible. One of the area's treasures is the Junee cave at Maydena. Rainforests flourish in the Florentine and other nearby valleys. Enclose yourselves in wet myrtle forests, and explore the "Eagle Eyrie" at Abbott's Peak. Before you leave the area, experience the unforgettable scenery of Lake Pedder and the South-West Wilderness World Heritage Area.
